Itinerary

After arriving at the airport, settle into your Riad in the old Medina. Spend the evening at the Jemaa el-Fnaa square, watching the storytelling and food stalls come to life.

Leave the city behind and head northeast toward the Middle Atlas. You will visit the stunning Ouzoud Waterfalls before reaching the serene turquoise waters of Bin El Ouidane lake.

Travel deeper into the High Atlas Mountains. This stage takes you through remote Berber villages to Imilchil, famous for its "Marriage Festival" and the twin lakes of Isli and Tislit. The scenery here is rugged and authentic.

Descend from the high plateaus toward the south. You will reach Tinghir, home to one of the world's most spectacular canyons: the Todra Gorge. Walk through the massive limestone cliffs that tower 300 meters above the river.

Head toward the Erg Chebbi dunes. In Merzouga, you will trade your vehicle for camels and trek into the heart of the dunes to watch the sunset. You’ll spend the night in a traditional desert camp under the stars.

Wake up for the sunrise over the dunes before heading west. You’ll pass through the "Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs." Arrive in Ouarzazate, known as the "Hollywood of Africa" due to its famous film studios.Just outside Ouarzazate lies Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and an iconic fortified village (Ksar).
